1) Learning to be more sensitive to visual work – learning to notice, to pay attention, to dig deeper.

2) Learning how to articulate our experience of visual work – our own, and the work of others.

3) Learning to speak persuasively and clearly about visual work.

4) Learning to write about, and to communicate about visual work in words, speech, websites, portfolios, artists statements, proposals.

5) To do all of the above we will explore artist websites, documentary films about artists and artmaking, and write/speak about all of the above.
